Stu[id strip. Besides making a reliogious person look foolish (religious bigotry) a gas fuel nozzle typically wonât fit into a diesel iintake because diesel nozzles are wider than gas nozzles. What a truly wasted strip.
Now heâll have to pay to get the gas tank removed and emptied and hopefully the guy wonât run the truck any farther than the edge of the parking lot. Even then, he would have to pay for the fuel line to get flushed out. But he was nice. Just gonna be nicer than he thought.
If a diesel nozzle (and filler hole) are larger, then a gas nozzle will fit. And does according to those who have done just this.
As long as itâs caught right away (as was in this case) Iâd think the solution is to empty the tank with out driving anywhere â the diesel in the lines should be pretty safe. Once the tank is refilled with diesel, the tiny bit of residual gas if any shouldnât hurt anything.
If you start driving, then yeah, Itâll get expensive.
