My previous job was at a large new distribution warehouse for a large company.. All the tons of steel purchased for the building came from So. Korea. I was a computer program designer, but all our tech support for the entire company was in India. Our product came in from all around the world (our LAST U.S. factory closed over ten years ago - not cost-efficient, or, you could say, profit not high enough) and was shipped back out to U.S. retailers for sale to basically the U.S. population. I always wondered, as more and more of our jobs go overseas, how can we keep selling to us - where will we get the money to buy? Can we ALL work for McDonald’s?
