Roll over? Sit up? Play dead? Shake? Speak?

The best way to train a dog is to get them to think it was their idea.

“Dogs laugh, but they laugh with their tails. And a tail is an awkward thing to laugh with, as you can see by the way they bend themselves half double in extreme hilarity trying to get that rear-end exuberance forward into the main scene of action.” Max Eastman (1883-1969)

this is funny but I find it odd that the trainer is wearing a bite sleeve but is glad that the dog did not bite him. Pitties like to play biting games but are more tug players than dog sleeve grabbers. That is more the area of shepherds and dobermans.

I can relate. My Sheltie will sometimes have a beautiful run at an agility trial and then stop at the last jump, refusing to take it until we go overtime. She acts like she has never seen such a thing like a jump in her whole life. I know she is laughing at me. And last trial, when she did this, the judge even giggled at me for begging her to finish. Good thing she is cute and the other runs were Qs.

Will isn’t vicious. Except for his sense of humor.
