But technically Arlo is right since he is a cartoon character and he doesn’t actually exist.

He’s living the impossible dream.

Careful Arlo, or Janis may find something for you to do!

Nothing is impossible? Try dribbling a football. Or skiing through a revolving door. Or when arguing with your wife, being right.

Wow, I have been giving Arlo too much credit. I thought he knew better what to say or not say to Janis in order to avoid chores. He has no one but himself to blame for the “Honey-do” list that is churning through Janis’ head right now. The physical manifestation of such a list is surely going to appear in his hands soon!

Didn’t they both have jobs? I remember Arlo wearing a tie at work. When did they retire?

I didn’t get finished doing the nothing from yesterday. I’m behind.

Doing nothing is impossible. If you are doing nothing, you’re doing something… ☺
