Odd. I thought the rule was: Clean as you go.
Cooking generates enormous amounts of “dishes” – both for eating and cleaning. Nobody is going to wash for you.
dining room dishes are a breeze compared to kitchenware
My husband never does the cooking or the dish washing. He is retired but eats about half his meals out, by himself.
The dishes won’t do themselves, unless you live in Beast’s castle.
Hard to screw up washing the dishes, cooking however…
