seems like it did end once, then started back up after the big bang boom! That was the turning point with this strip, I believe.
.
The big guy behind Heff was part of a story line back a few years ago. My memory is horrible at best so can’t recall which one, but I do remember seeing him.
Corey - NOOOOOO! Don’t fire everyone in this economy! Even cartoon characters need work. Where will everyone go? I doubt other strips are hiring right now. (And what will I read - or attempt to read - every morning when I get into work?)
For those of you that keep giving Corey smack, knock it off.
It takes a lot of work from concept to finished product, and he does Barkeater Lake virtually for free. So rather than piss and moan about the dearth of strips, how about we support the guy with Facebook, My Space and other blog posts that tell everyone else how much we love the guy and the stuff he cranks out?

I get the feeling Corey is getting us ready to stop the strip! I hope not!

I have those same thoughts on Marty’s future all the time.

2001 came and went, and no Pan Am shuttles to a space station. Heck, no Pan Am, either.

Well said, progan01. Well said, indeed.

Who is the bald guy in the brown shirt behind Heff? He’s the only character I don’t recognize.

Didn’t this strip end once before and then start back up?

I think the big guy worked in the bar and spoke English like the manx cat in Get Fuzzy. Or maybe it’s just the drugs.

BL’s not going anywhere guys. There will be shake-ups and yes, someone may lose their job, but the strip will be around for the foreseeable future.
Today’s strip will be late, however.
I will do my best to have it for your viewing pleasure by the end of today. If not, count on a tomorrow morning update.
As always, thanks for your comments/concerns/hate mail and readership.
To the Ridicularity™ pontificator!

Okay, I’ve drawn two versions of the latest strip. One ends it all, one starts in on negotiations to continue on.
Which will be posted?
Hmmm….

Negotiations please! I love this storyline, even if The Countess Tanzini is in it precious little.
lindavid3 over 15 years ago
negotiations! Looks like everyone is willing to talk… or at least feel the NEED to talk considering their look of weariness!
JerryGorton over 15 years ago
Corey, I vote for negotiations.
Akenta over 15 years ago
I go with negotiations, too. Please.
farren over 15 years ago
Either negotiate or don’t. It’s not my choice, nor should it be - unless you truly have no stake in the game, and I find that pretty hard to believe.

Negotiations please……. and Keep on Keepin on bud yer doing great. Maybe a Baseball meeting between the Elderberries and the Bark Eaters…. =)
