I’m amazed and entertained each day by clever strips presented in gocomics. This strip has been yet another great addition to my daily reading. I appreciate that everyone had something nice to say. It was all true and deserved. The artists work hard and deserve to be shown our gratitude. Have a great day everyone!
I agree. Grading books, movies, and art is absurd and I have never understood why it’s done and I have never done it, until a couple of weeks ago. The author of a movie asked me if I could add stars or numbers to a review I had written of his movie because it can help with the promotion and future funding. That’s when I understood why they exist.
I prefer not to rate because there’s always room for improvement and giving a top rating sometimes causes people to stop trying harder. I gave my Uber driver a 4 out of 5 star rating and then couldn’t tip him because there was no option to say anything other than criticism.. he was a good driver, I was so mad!

(senses more than a “PREVENTATIVE MEASURE” (or a preservation effort of one self) in this cartoon)
