Just thought I’d share with you all that my recent blood donation was sent to The Christie Hospital last Thursday. A specialist cancer hospital in Manchester. I feel so honoured. I have booked my next donation for January and it will be dedicated to Egrayjames.
I hope you’re all doing well. Much Love. See ya later.
Last night, I watched an episode of the nostalgic UK television series The Footage Detectives on Talking Pictures TV (Freeview Channel 82). This show is mostly nostalgic for old movies and TV shows which turn up on Talking Pictures TV but some viewers write in with memories of old comics. One reader mentioned reading the Buster comic in the 1960s and they showed a copy of the very first Buster comic from 1960 with Buster on the front cover and billed as “Buster – Son of Andy Capp”. As I have mentioned before, I read Buster from 1973 to 1979 and that was when the actual Buster strip was “Buster’s Dream World” and then “Buster’s Diary”.

When was the last time any of us changed their shoes in a pub?
Some places need to cover the sticky floors with peanut shells or sawdust.
