The Ziggy Zoo household should make the point obvious.

I’m a plant person. I don’t have any pets, but I have ten plants in my living room, and a few more out on the balcony.

All pets are equal. But some are more equal than others

My favorite cat person in the world has to be Catwoman from Batman.

Then it goes to assume that Batman has to be my favorite bat person. (I don’t even know any other bat people. Aside from Dracula who I definitely don’t like.)

I’ve had both, and I’m a cat person for life. Cats are much more civilized and easier to care for.

Sorry, Ziggy. I have been pet person for years, and am still asked to choose. I tell them I’m both, and they tell me I have to choose. Nope. If I am one who loves cats and dogs, so be it.

I have 2 daughters. The younger one acquired many pets during her childhood. Guinea pigs, goldfish and beta fish, hedgehog, 2 dogs, hamsters, rats, and one mouse. Never had cats, birds or snakes. Now she has cats, snakes and 4 chickens. She is married, does not live with me.
