As a worker-bee who used to have his boss drop a fat stack of resumes on my desk so I could skim off the cream of the crop and save him the time (as if I didn’t have my regular work to do), I can see why companies would resort to automating the process.
Of course the resume-writer can try to slant the odds, but they do that anyway regardless of who or what is sorting throught the pile.
