It is when something expensive breaks or a health issue happens that may break the bank especially for those living paycheck to paycheck or are retired and on a tight budget. I fall into the 2nd category, unexpected expenses and that budget gets so tight it squeaks.
That is what we do, I do not go buy new clothes each year.Our furniture, as we never have company outside my sister/husband, I decided to downsize, works, furniture came from a different home who also had to downsize. Saves money.
