Our Pom gets her stitches and cone removed today. Several BB sized benign mammary tumors removed on Oct. 14. She’s so low to the ground, her cone was acting like a front-end loader bucket picking up pebbles and grass clippings. She’d also crash into our bare ankles with her cone. Painful!

“Cone of shame”?? What are those dogs thinking about?

They make soft poofy cones now, that double as pillows. For cats, anyway.

Zeke seems to be learning but he still has much to learn.

Dogs have an acute sense of knowing when people and dogs are not well. God love them

I was going to say, Zeke, in a rare appearance without a ball in his mouth! Poor guy!

Way back in the day we had a Basset hound mix – very low slung critter. His super power was running through the snow and leaving five tracks.

I had a neighbor years ago who watched helplessly as her dog died from a tennis ball stuck in his throat.

Zeke has a penchant for swallowing things he shouldn’t.
