A curse out in the open!

First rule of computers. Save early and often.

Every time I save a document I add a new consecutively numbered revision. That way I always know the current saved document.

Depending on the autosave interval, at best, you lost the last 10 minutes of work, at worst the last half hour.

I’ve been filing mandatory reports to a government agency. It’s a new requirement and the deadline is 12/31. Noncompliance costs $500.00. The website is so bad. It stopped functioning yesterday. This morning it allowed me to do all the work, but won’t accept it. The error says they will be doing maintenance on the 18th. It’s the 15th so…..☺️

The opposite of a blessing in disguise is a curse in disguise for those of you wondering!!

Regret? As in what it looks like you’re experiencing at the moment

It’s definitely a blessing and a curse. With art, I’ll sometimes take it too far and be quite relieved that I can revert back to its original state and not have it auto saved!

So Andy’s original plaintive cry was a contradiction to how he really felt?
