Rakkav - Calvin does, I think this strip marked the first time he heard of Hamster Huey. Unfortunately for Dad, he’ll pay the price in years to come when Calvin continues to demand Hamster Huey at bedtime!

Ah. I was about to say so, but 1) wasn’t sure if this was his first time with Hamester Huey and 2) if so, didn’t want to spoil it for the newbies.

Calvin, yesterday’s story was put you right to sleep but was slow motion. Today’s story was fast and action packed wasnt it ?

Dad deserves a hand for that one.

This is one of my two favorite “Dad” comix. The other was when Calvin demanded that Dad read “Hamster Huey” again and again and again. Dad finally “doctored” the story and left Calvin and Hobbes both wide-eyed.

Hobbes’ last line was priceless: “I wonder what the villagers ever did with Hamster Huey’s head?”

Sure, Susan001 dad IS more immature, but wow, what fun. In fact I’ve made up my mind what I want to be when I grow up…EXTREMELY OLD!
