Ah, the dino-sized Sunday strip! Will the Allosaurus eat all his dadosaurus burger? Can one dino eat that much charred meat? Wait! I know! He’s getting ready to survive the ice age the momosaurus will lay down if dinner is ruined! HA HA HA !

An empty stomach brings out the allosaurus in all of us!

This is still an early (Sunday) strip, with the limited options for panels–imagine how big the various dinos could have been in later years, when Bill Watterson had more freedom…

I’ve know young children like Calvin and bigger ones. Our own two would be cranky and hungry, we would calm them down so they wouldn’t distrube others, once fed they mellowed out. Don’t have to worry about this anymore their both adults.

Note to ratlum: PLEASE tell me the name of your icon character – from L’il Abner, isn’t it. I’ve been trying to find it for ages!! Thanks.

Teresa said (yesterday), “If he did hit the wiring, he’d be cured of drilling holes, lightning fast! …” But if Calvin gets ‘grounded’, he won’t have to be concerned about hitting the wiring!

Maybe Calvin is going to be ‘allosaurus’ (all sores) on his backside toot sweet, with the spatula Dad just dropped.
