Someone tell me: does Rover act as bodyguard against Red’s bullying brother? There was an arc on “Calvin & Hobbes” where Hobbes’ very presence saved him from a beating by Moe. I ask because the two strips are so similar.

This looks like a pretty risky hiding place for the two of them. I can reach pretty far under the bed with the vacuum cleaner because everyone knows that’s where the dust bunnies hang out.

With Red under the bed also, he can comfort Rover from his fear of the vc.

We would have to bump Rugby with the vacuum cleaner. He was like, what do you want, I am perfectly comfortable and fine here, go away! LOL

My Lizzie doesn’t bark at the vacuum anymore. She just runs into the bedroom where it’s quiet, lol!

The real thing was that Rover wanted Red’s company …… :)

Our dachshund/cattle dog mix attacked the vacuum when it was running. The dustbuster and the broom, too! He was small but fierce. And maybe he thought a clean floor was overrated, LOL.
