Biden might have been not a great President BUT he wasn’t a felon. Try as they might, the republicans could never find that he committed a crime! I’ll take a not so great president over a felon

Harrison didn’t have a covid pandemic to pull the country out of, nor the resultant world wide supply chain disruption and inflation to contend with.

Yesterday, Thanksgiving Day, the comments here were absolutely pathetic, the commenter’s made a very poor showing for themselves. I’m sure I’ll be attacked by the Usual Suspects, but insults from such sources have little meaning and Lee’s sting.

You mean an effective, more progressive and accomplished President than we thought ‘Joe’?

The DOGE “commission" (which actually doesn’t exist, it’s just an informal group of advisors to the not-yet-resident) is ideally positioned to enable Musk to get rid of every regulation that impacts his own(and other kleptocrats) business empire.

It’s the most egregious conflict of interest imaginable. (trump will do the same; you know none of the tariffs will touch anything he makes money on, and that there will be careful carve-outs for any company that bribes him, and every country that gives him or his businesses profitable deals and favors.)

Elon Musk: ‘’Delete CFPB. There are too many duplicative regulatory agencies.’’

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is one of our most efficient agencies. Costs less than $1B a year & has fought to return over $20B directly to Americans.

But I guess it makes sense that a klepto billionaire wants to eliminate one of the agencies that fights for working people.

The klepto-kakistocracy is coming together along w/the cabinet of horrors/whoors.

Hmmm – seems a bit unfair to Biden, in the annual ranking of the US Presidents by a panel of 150 or so presidential scholars and historians, he was ranked 14th – primarily in Covid response and legislative and economic gains – while Harrison is way down the list at 41st. Trump of course is dead last, at 45th. Don’t expect him to do any better this time, his “team” – with a few exceptions – is a train wreck.

Harrison had dementia that was hidden/denied by his administration and the newspapers?

History will regard Biden as a very good president, and likely better due to comparisons with tRump.

Cleveland and Harrison was back-and-forth on whether America should be on the gold standard or the silver standard.Democrats wanted silver.

Democrats ran William Kennings Bryan 3 times on the silver platform and lost all three
