When my middle sister and I were young – there is a 5 year age difference, so this started when I was 10 or 11 and she was 5 or 6 – I would get together with her to chip in and buy my parents – birthday, anniversary, Chanukah, mother’s day, father’s day, etc gifts.
I thought I was being nice – I would even put in twice as much as she did since my allowance was twice the amount of hers (due to age difference and what allowance was to cover) . I found about two years ago that she has always been mad at me for doing this and “spending” her allowance.
(Baby sister is another 7 years younger than middle one so never really fell into this setup for gifts as by the time she had an allowance I was in college. etc.)

He knew what Michael wanted and will see that he gets it. What’s wrong with that? ;)
