Someone sued Texas Pete (a hot sauce brand for those who might not know). They felt the name falsely implied a Texas origin. It is made in Winston-Salem, NC.
The warnings you see on products are typically mandated by federal law. The anarchist in me wants to see all warnings eliminated so all we can have a Darwinian weaning of all the stupid people in the country.

I like the one on my blow dryer that says “Do not use while sleeping.”
There’s a page on the app for some hearing aids that warns (I’m paraphrasing here) if you turn your hearing aids down, you may not hear something.
