Looks like someone needs to organize the camel parking better. Having to step in things to get to the lobby isn’t a reputation enhancer.

According to some scholars, the thumbs-up signal meant a gladiator should be killed, and thumbs-down meant that he should be spared.

Fun fact: There is absolutely no evidence that any such census ever occurred. And it makes no sense that any census would require someone to return to the homeland of one’s ancestors to be counted. A census would count people where they are.

It’s all just a ham-fisted attempt by the men who made up the bible to fit the narrative they created for Joshua into the myths of the Old Testament tales. The old fables said the messiah would be of Bethlehem, so the writers concocted this story of a census as a reason for the “holy family” to be there.

I like the motel signage. It’s transparent, we know what’s all about!

Not wishing to offend anyone. Scholars? Phd. in thumb pointing? That it is discussed or given any thought? When serious questions such as when to take down christmas lights goes unanswered.

Sorry, but that sign is pretty tone-deaf given recent events. Not to mention completely yucky.
