How about a poster of my idol…Esther Williams.

Why doesn’t Poncho’s family and his buddies go find him?

Uh, oh…this is starting to look like that movie THE DEFIANT ONES where Tony Curtis was shackled to Sidney Poitier.

It’s gotta be a dream, it took Poncho a full frame to think of a comeback to the axe… which is really a pick.

Actually, it’s starting to look like The Shawshank Redemption, hence my earlier reference to the Rita Hayworth poster. Tim Robbins used a small rock hammer to chip his way out of prison & he covered the hole in the wall with the poster.

THE DEFIANT ONES is the first thing I thought of when I saw them shackled. Now I really miss the Cafe. Think Poncho could use a cup of Joe right now anyway.

Where’s that “click” in his head?
