What do lyrics matter when you’re having fun?

Sirius is enthusiastic.

“…..And an Ostrich up a Gum Treeeeeeeeee!”

Sirius is one cute pupper. I wish the cartoonist would draw a series of cartoons when Floof and Sirius were new born

Floof is the only one who got it right.

They’re both so cute! I love Floof’s face in the last panel.

These lyrics make as much sense as the original.

I once heard, on my car radio, a version of the song where after each day the recipient was heard writing a thank you note to the giver. It started out with sweet comments and got ever more acerbic until in the end she was calling the police and her lawyer. And I was laughing so hard by day four that I had to pull over to safely listen to the last of it. Wish I could remember the name of the group who did it.

Sirius, you need to learn the Pogo version of that song. It’s a lot of fun.

Floof and Sirius are having a meowy crispness.

Perhaps a simple indication of my university years; but, hearing this song, I have flashbacks of a real or imagined sitcom moment involving David Cassidy and a fruit tree.

Oh, dang. So, how DOES it go, then?

They’re singing their own song(s).

I love Floof’s version. I’m singing it that way from now on!
