Andy has been defined……

The police should be the last to be lecturing others on the subject of ‘respect’. We all hear about crime, corruption and incompetence in the force on the news but l actually experienced corruption for myself 3 or 4 years ago and l was literally mugged by 2 officers. It was their word against mine so l didn’t take it further and l suspect many others have similar stories. For over 50 years l’ve been a law abiding citizen and shown respect to the police. That changed over night and after my experience, for some time after, just the mere sight of a uniform triggered me. Then last year, l was knocked off my bike and the police dealt with the driver appropriately and checked up on me in hospital. I told them about my previous experience and rather than be defencive, one of the officers actually admitted that the police are like plumbers. You get good ones and bad ones.

I’m on the fence.

What’s one’s “Free spirit” is another’s irresponsible & immature.
