Don’t rock the jukebox.

Cool, a chance to discover new music. Few things are as horrifying as the thought that I might never again listen to a new song.

I don’t know of a single jukebox.

I haven’t kept up with new popular music either. I don’t feel bad about it.

The last great rock record was Disturbed’s version of The Sound of Silence.

Longtime grade school buddy of mine collected juke boxes. Sold them all except one classic. It is filled with late 50’s to late 70’s tunes. Play it every time I go visit him. It is the only stand up juke box I’ve seen in 20-30 years. Agree with the comic. I might recognize one in 10 songs of a modern juke box.

Most jukeboxes around here are Internet connected. They seem to have any piece of recorded music. Last week at bowling I played Jailbreak, covered by Yothu Yindi. AC/DC covered by a band with didgeridoos?

I couldn’t tell you the name of one song on the top ten!

I used to know them all….but……time marches on….

Relax Harley, you can hear all the tunes you love, they’ve been turned into elevator music

Every time I visit the iTunes Store, I flip right past the first page.
