This is my place. I run cold. 72/73 is perfect for me, year round. Heat and cooling system is set up so it won’t deviate up or down more than 2* either hot or cold. Mrs runs hot. She turns it down to 69 and opens windows. Other night she turned the system off. I left it off. Morning came it was 64 in the house, she called complaining I turned the heat off! I asked her when have I ever turned the heat DOWN, from where she sets it! I noticed this am…..heat is off….

My wife is always cold, but our “efficient” heat pump can’t keep the house above 68F if it’s freezing outside. So, she wears sweaters.

Unless Ma is paying the bill, she should keep her hands off the thermostat!

Disconnect that one, leave it there, hide the real one elsewhere.

Unfortunately you can’t please everyone when it comes to the room temperature. Someone will invariably suffer.

I have it set on 72 and live on the second floor. It’s nice and comfortable. You would think it would run all the time, but it doesn’t.

They work great in the Arizona summer but suck when it hits about 35 degrees.
