I ate too much in the last … few years. That’s why my breakfast was a diet shake and an oatmeal cookie.

He had me at donuts!

I was in IT for twenty years. When I went to a party with my new girlfriend, the hostess was complaining about a problem with her printer. Although my girlfriend kept nudging me with her elbow, I was off the clock and just wanted to enjoy myself. I had firmly learned the lie behind the words, “Oh, this will just take five minutes.”

I didn’t even suggest she reboot her computer. :)

And every one of them will have a different ‘fix’ and not one of them will work. Donuts AND scones? I will be there in a flash.
