Being punched out is worse than a lot things.

So did you get punched, Sally? (Nah, Schulz would have shown her with rumpled hair at least if that had happened.)

Question: I’ve always wondered if Sally wears a bow in her hair on the front, or if it’s curls on her forehead? (I’m extremely nearsighted). As a kid I always saw it as some kind of hair bow thing. Probably curls, but looking at the rest of her hair it seems straight…and cut like a barber did it.

She should have bought him a metric ruler

Things were simpler then. These days, the kid’s father would have sued Sally’s family.

Now the kid is happy with the ruler.

Sally might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but at least she knows the correct contraction of “you are” (unlike 99% of the intra-web)
