I’ve been seeing all of the bouncy dance steps currently popular. I tried one and my body reminded me that jumping around like that is not still an option. At least not from a cold start

Forget edgy. There’s music (1979 back to the beginning of time) and noise (1980 and later).

Isn’t alternative music considered oldies by now?

I was a huge fan of Queen when hardly any radio stations would play their songs because of some of them reputedly being gay, like Freddy Mercury, If he had actually been of that bent. You have to recognize good music!
