Hey Satch, one our dogs was an expert housefly killer. He’d use his nose to smash them against the wall. (Same dog was adept at biting yellow jackets in half and spitting out the pieces.)
Satchel is missing the point of the book’s instructions: it’s a cat training manual, so the pressure points are explained so that a cat can get the most pleasure out of killing one bug. Any observant cat owner will agree with this. Wait for a possible clarification tomorrow…
Don’t kill the mosquito hawks, a.k.a. dragonflies. They eat mosquitoes. If you squish a mosquito, you could get two hands full of blood. It happened to my mother when she slapped one that was on her arm. Gross.
