Thousands of people want to honor their relationships to each other, not get married for purposes of publicity or exploitation, but no, those donāt count. Only if a man and woman want to marry, regardless of how shabbily they treat one another and the institution, is it legitimate. Gay marriage is not the problem, as you so trenchantly point out.
Somebody tell the experts that statistically speaking gay relationships last longer than heterosexual marriage. So if you really want to preserve the institution of marriageā¦

Hugh, ātis true. People get married (and divorced) for a LOT of stupid reasons. My brother-in-lawās marriage lasted 3 months.

Yeah, Britneyās been a bastion for the institution of marriage, hasnāt she. Then again, so has Las Vegas as a whole.
I would just like to point out that British Columbia is beautiful this time of year, and same-sex marriage is legal Canada-wide.
