Every year I “give up” Facebook for Lent. It always does me the world of good and I don’t miss it at all. But I don’t want to come off it completely. I’m a nosy so and so and I love to see what’s going on with people. Especially when things aren’t as perfect and rosy as people make it out to be. Social media is simply for keeping up appearances. As for Twitter (Not X. Sod off, Elon) I can take or leave that.

My mom is 89, has a smart phone and loves her social media. Says it helps keep her mind active.

Unfortunately, social media seems to have made people meaner and umber. if only there was an app that could make people nicer and smarter.

It wasa better then people were talking to each other in person
