Animals see, hear and smell things that we humans can’t thus validating MOST of their behaviour that makes no sense to US.

His cat is thinking, ((“Are you going to eat that spider that’s hanging by a thread over your head?”))
I also believe cats have a sense of humor. They like to look at nothing just to mess with us. I like the outlet behind the chair. Unnecessary for the story but a nice tough.
