The whole point is to try to catch the ball before it hits you.
Dislocated fingers were the main result of nearly catching the ball at my school!
They will always catch it if you throw at their head……….wished it worked that way!!!!
So, put your glove up in front of your face (but not in such a way that you can’t see the ball)!
