I hope that’s eggnog.

I can’t imagine all those cats haven’t ‘taken down’ the tree already. More than once. And batted anything loose under the couch, and under foot beside your bed and all over the kitchen floor.

Hey! I’m right there with ya! The tree topper’s the hardest part! The rest is a piece of cake, and I’ll get to it in time! But now, for some reason, I want a piece of cake!

Next week; unplug the lights.

I still have some winter ornaments around the house….I like them. There’s nothing written in stone about when to take them down. To each his own! ☺️☺️

I’d call that “pinefully slow.”

Time to invest in a mini tree

Ours stays up at least to the 15th of Jan. Mrs is Orthodox, celebrates “her” Christmas on Jan 7th. So about a week after that day. Lot to be said for artificial trees when they are up that long. (as well as all the folks collecting discarded trees are no longer doing so by that date)

By November, the tree stand will be back in the closet.

You’re out pacing me, Norm.

Be like Norm! Don’t be like me… take off the lights and roll them into a big Christmas Tumbleweed. Job done! Only to create a much bigger job, to be dealt with next December.

Norm isn’t being lazy…more like time efficient. If all he ever takes down is the tree topper, think of all the time he’ll save next Christmas season.

The top is a good place to start, there are fewer ornaments up there.

I have a friend who keeps his tree up, and decorated, each year until Valentines day. Then he and his wife take it down together.
