He sure looks bummed.

I blame the squirrels.

There is always a percentage left unclaimed due to the death of the the hider or just forgetting, when there is easier food around.

Squirrels hate it when they lose their nuts.

Squirrels not finding them was an important source of reforestation.

I’m surprised Marm isn’t chasing them. It’s a dog thing!

Dem bones, dem bones. Dem dry bones.

The Squirrels moved moved his bones. Future bargaining points.

Cheer up, Marm. Why don’t you give chase to all those squirrels laughing at you!

Marm ……. Here is an idea ….. put some acorns with your bones …… then if you can’t find your bones ….. maybe the squirrels will …….. help you find them …… :)
