When I was 8 I thought my dad was old at 35. When he said he was middle aged I was shocked. (actually middle age really begins at 40) When I was 10 my grandpa turned 60 and we thought he was surely going to die soon. Funny how the older you get, OLD is always at least 10 years older than you are.
The really frustrating thing about being old, is when you see people about to make a huge mistake and they won’t listen to you because you’re old.
I feel like telling them, you see all these grey hairs? They are from when I did something stupid like you are about to do. After you have worked your way out of your own mess, you now have wisdom. Becoming wise can be a painful process.

QOTD: Are you super old (over 30)?
I’d say yes but I don’t know if I can trust myself.

Don’t trust anyone over 30 (or, possibly, 10).

My dad was 39 right up until he passed away, 40 years later.

In the 70s I used think “I’ll be 46 in the year 2000”. Now I’m in my 70s.

When I was in my teens, no one thought we’d get to our 30s (atomic wars ya know?)
