That’s about how it goes. I was prescribed pregabalin for peripheral neuropathy several years ago, and I noticed a lot of women my age asking for it at the pharmacy. Today they say it’s bad for you and offer something else. Which I’m glad they did, because the replacement is much more effective and doesn’t cause weight gain like pregabalin does. The tendency to just prescribe the drug du jour is really annoying.
