I can believe Laura dated someone, the fact that she chose Adam is difficult to believe.

So—will this knowledge make Katy a better person? Or will she be the same insufferable brat??

Just so long as we don’t see Adam’s back flashing Laura from the gym in high school. :)

Katy, we are not assigned people to marry, we have to hunt for them.

When I was a little girl (5 or under) my red headed mom would make jokes about if I liked my dad. (I idolized him and still do even after he has been dead for a few decades and after working with/for him for a couple of decades – then taking over his accounting practice.)

“Wouldn’t you like a daddy with red hair better?” was one of her teases – and the answer was always NO.

My dad treated me as a person and never ever even gave an intimidation that a son would have been better (I am the eldest of 3 girls). He taught me how to do “guy things” as no one else to help him but me or younger sisters. My husband never met a girl/woman before me who knew how to use tools (woodworking, etc), knew how to put gas in the tank/air in the tires, and so on – all manner of guy sort of things. He was impressed I could and I owe it all to my dad.
