Nowadays they do make these little fans that people can attach to their bags or whatever to keep them cool on hot days, so in a way Bucky was ahead of his time. But of course those fans are a lot smaller than Bucky’s (though still too big to put in a pocket, unless it’s a really spacious one).
I think this strip was repeated less than a year ago. Why Gocomics refuses to run the early years of Get Funny, I have no idea. Oh….I get it. Probably contracted with the syndicate to buy only certain strips.
