At my age it’s considered ancient history

He may not like it (maybe because it makes him feel old?) … but when I was in school we had a class that covered current history which included the Moon landing and the Vietnam War. On the news they will often talk about events in recent history.

Get ready for a new ministry of truth to rewrite those history books.

9/11? That was Canada.

1/6? Tourists taking pictures.

COVID? Someone else to blame for all the deaths.

Democracy? A fairytale.

Recent history of the last 50 years of technological advances have had a significant global impact – Bill Gates / Steve Jobs are right in there with George Washington and Abe Lincoln in your final exams

At my hometown’s museum, the displays are mostly from around 1910 and back. I’d like to see a holodeck of the town back when I was a kid in the 60’s

Of course, when you don’t learn from it anyway….
