    Mine just broke through the ground last week. It will be weeks before they bloom.

    Mine have usually broken through and the shoots should be about an inch tall by now, but so far they are staying below ground. Almost every spring, they bloom just in time to be buried under the snow. Fortunately, the are very resilient flowers. Once the snow melts, they pop upright again.
