Mr. Wiggly: 1st panel; He’s gone back to the 60s and is dancing to Chubby Checkers’ song “The Twist”.

Anyone remember that yesterday was Lincoln’s birthday?

I saw NO mention whatsoever of Lincoln yesterday, not one editorial cartoon, nor any other cartoon that I saw and no mention on TV or any medium.

    .

“Great president. Most people don’t even know he was a Republican, Does anyone know? Lot of people don’t know that.” Trump, right after being told that Lincoln was a Republican.

Republicans can ram things through because they vote in lock step and are too cowardly to vote otherwise. They are also afraid of physical violence if they vote ‘the wrong way’.

Courage, like shame or embarrassment is not in the Republican DNA.

True that. Vandalism is easy for people with no moral compass. Building up and repair is costly and difficult.

Apparently, we’ve all forgotten about the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and the last Covid relief bill. Those were both rammed through by Democrats. Not a comment on if either were good/bad, just a couple of examples.

Also, in the current political system, the Democrats have no real interest in making meaningful changes. They would lose too much. PS: I’m not a Republican. Both parties are right wing conservative parties imho.
