There was strip where Rover told Red he was sad he’d have to wait so long in heaven to be reunited with Red . . . I’m not sure I’m saying this correctly, but our dogs have us for their entire lives but we only have them for a little while in the space of our own lifespan. I treasure each day I have with Newton, as I did with my other two dog sons.
