    I had two painted turtles when I was a kid. I gave them to the next door neighbor girl when I left home. When she went off to college she gave them to another friend. Best guess is they were 30/35 years old before they passed.

    At. Family function, a snapping turtle came up from the creek in the yard…we gave him carrots then sent him back to the creek!
