    I read an interesting theory about why cats do that. They are treating the owners like their children and are teaching them how to hunt.

    I remember a night a long time ago when my kitties would not settle down. They kept making noise far longer than they usually do. Finally I got up to investigate and they had killed a mouse! I was glad it was dead and I disposed of it, and we’ve never had another mouse since!

    Before my cats were indoor only, I had one that would line up several squirrel heads and tails in neat rows, 3 of each.

    I also had a dog that would catch birds. Just jump uo and grab them! She did it 3 times that I saw.
