The LuAnn strip had the perfect saying for this strip today. “You know you’re getting old (a Plugger) when your subscriptions are replaced with prescriptions.”
I prefer to see Husband in a print shirt, always if we will be eating out. I’m about to purge all solid shirts from his closet so I don’t have to say you can’t wear that. (he has dementia and I’m not a controlling b#@ch normally)
Husband, just about only, wears the same type of button shirts he wore to work for decades. I have gotten him to try some tee shirts as they are easier to find (I wear women’s tee shirt blouses just about every day) and I think he now has 3 of them – but does not normally wear them.
He likes to wear the dress ones which are sold by neck/arm length sizes and it getting harder for him to find in general and even more so at reasonable price. I have gotten good at taking the cuffs and/or the collars off his shirts and reversing them to extend the life of his shirts.
One problem is that men’s tee shirts rarely have pockets these days – and then many of those which do have tiny pockets – and he needs regular sized same to put his eyeglasses in while not wearing them.

A case of belly reach being greater than arm reach?

I have never and will never wear a Hawaiian shirt! Besides, I wear my food stains proudly!

I can afford the shirt, but not the trip to visit.

Nothing like a nice yellow mustard stain on a new blue denim shirt…. LOL

Not bad reasoning. However, I don’t own any Hawaiian shirts, nor do I intend to buy any!
