Make the bedroom a pet free space.

I’m gonna say it again….THAT’s WHY I’M NOT A CAT PERSON!!

My cats have been a great comfort since my husband passed recently. They cuddle up with me and sometimes sleep on the bed. Comments like the ones above “Throw the cat into the wall!” “Shut the cat in the basement!” are painful to read.

What? Looks cozy to me. Unfortunately, while my wife’s healing from knee surgery, the cat is banished from our bedroom.

That sight is worse than what I go through nightly.

My cats come and go during the night, trading spots, leaving the bed for the heating vent, or going out to the living room to stare at the closed up fireplace (I keep thinking, is he seeing something in there that I can’t?) If I have to shift around, I might hear some minor protests, but they usually quietly move. My cat Bilbo will move immediately if I tell him that I have to go to the bathroom.

I’m all for demonstrating how it it becomes a cat-a-pult!
