No, not rah. Medium well, please. And sear one side, with garlic on the other. Buttered mushrooms on the side. And mashed potatoes with gravy. A small green salad. Roquefort dressing. Malbec wine, room temperature. I’ll have a warmed onion bagel with cream cheese while I wait for the meal.

My nearby store is going through that remodel hell. It’s like playing “Where’s Waldo” just to find the peanut butter. Grrr.

Every time I think I know where things are in the store they move them. Except the art supply store! I know where everything is there, and even help customers when the staff is occupied. They seem to think I work there…
