I love this comic! I have a grown-from-seed Saguaro named Shorty. He is 21 years old now and about 20 inches tall. Those needles awe wicked….i brushed against him lightly…once….never again. I will cut this comic out of the paper and post it near him.

i’ve grown cactuses for years and have never been able to figure out what drives folks who visit our home to immediately want to reach out and touch plants that are going to hurt them…
