Didn’t have to go far to find the guilty party!

Although he has around a million pets.

The “rabbit” on top of his TV ate the PB.

Looks like Lio and his Dad are going to have to get the digital converter box soon.

Is it a sign of how old I am that I remember having to fiddle with not only the antennae, but the vertical and horizontal holds on my black and white TV?

Remeber when a TV repairman actually showed up to fix the darn thing?

Craigor - you’re in good company - bang it twice on the side for fine tuning, one on the top for vertical hold.

Remember taking out the tubes and going to the store to test them?

Don’t forget the fine tuning control!

Remember when people used to put a bit a of foil on the rabbit ears for better reception? Banging on the top of the TV always worked for me.

He knew the elephant did it from the footprint in the peanut butter.

Remember Channel U? I remember the antenna moving, and playing with the holds.

All this TV talk reminds me of a Gallagher joke:

There are all these knobs to adjust the tint, the color, the contrast; I just want one that turns up the intelligence. There’s one marked “Brightness,” but it doesn’t work.

I’m only twentyfour, but I still remember some old stuff. Like for the longest time, we had a little black and white TV. I wonder where it disappeared to.

And yeah, mum told me this story. Back in the day, maybe the 70s, her mother (my grandmother) wanted to buy a new black and white TV. But she was like the first one in ten years, who had asked for a black and white TV in that store.

Ah yes, doctortoon, I remember that well. I watched many a TV show from the far diagonal corner of the room. ;)

Well, it’s about time he addressed the elephant in the room.
